Christine Kangas
Christine is a Water Rights Specialist and certified Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) with a strong background in GIS, geography, and environmental policy. Her professional experience includes aerial imagery analysis, GIS and geospatial data management, and work supporting natural resource and environmental projects.Christine has served as a volunteer with the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and has experience supporting federal natural resource agencies, including the Bureau of Reclamation. She also has nearly 20 years providing geospatial data support for Department of Defense initiatives. Her background includes managing and analyzing complex spatial datasets, interpreting historical and contemporary aerial imagery, mapping land and water use, and supporting environmental and regulatory analysis.
